Bainbridge Island Youth Soccer Club

Feb. 8, 2009: The Groundbreaking Celebration hosted by Bainbridge Island Metropolitan Park and Recreation District and Fields For Our Future was enjoyed by children and adults. Park Board members and staff, City Council members, BIYSC, Boys Lacrosse and Girls Lacrosse players and their parents, Washington State Youth Soccer Association Board members and other community members attended the ceremony on the fields. The players took the first dig into the fields. The ceremony was followed by a reception at the Transmitter Building where we all warmed up with coffee and cake.

Fields For Our Future is a partnership between Bainbridge Island Metropolitan Parks and Recreation District (BIMPRD) and Bainbridge Island Youth Soccer Club (BIYSC) to renovate the two current sand/rubber playing fields, #4 and #5, at Battlepoint Park. To get more info, go here.
